Post-curing exposes SLA printed parts to light and heat, which strengthens crosslinks in the polymer structure, improving strength, stiffness, and temperature resistance.
Formlabs resins are designed to cure in 405 nm light, although curing times and temperatures vary depending on part geometry. Post-curing is optional for Standard Resins, but it’s particularly important for the Formlabs range of functional resins.
You may also choose to use a UV nail spa or other light box to cure your prints. Read more about Alternative Post-Cure Solutions.
